• Account registration information if you create a consumer or advertiser account

• Pages viewed and time spent on site (via anonymous analytics)
• A randomly generated visitor identifier stored in a cookie (not linked to your identity)

• To deliver your lead inquiry to the financial institution you selected
• To send rate alerts you have subscribed to

• To communicate with advertisers about their campaigns and billing

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in these circumstances:

• With the institution you contact: When you submit a lead inquiry, your contact information is delivered to the specific institution you chose.
• Service providers: We use third-party services (Supabase for auth, Stripe for payments, SendGrid for email, Algolia for search) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and a single first-party analytics cookie (a random visitor ID) to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features (sign-in, rate alerts) will not function without essential cookies.

6. Data Retention

Lead inquiries are retained for 24 months to support dispute resolution. Account data is retained for the life of the account and for 3 years after deletion. Anonymous analytics data is retained for 13 months. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing us at privacy@kcbanks.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@kcbanks.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Children

KCBanks.com is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
